Background: LightArt collaborated with Luma Lighting Design, WRNS Studio, and their client Amazon to help transform Manhattan’s historic Lord & Taylor building into the tech giant's new modern office space. The project’s goals focused on creating an energy-efficient environment with a reduced carbon footprint, promoting employee well-being, and honoring the rich history of the iconic building.

The Solution: The design team integrated over 55 Coil Collection D1 pendants throughout the expansive office, bringing warmth and cohesion to both standard and collaborative spaces. Featuring grounding colors like Red Clay and Limestone, the D1 pendants complemented the overall design vision. As a Declare Label-certified product, the Coil Collection is crafted from recycled materials, includes a PVC-free power cord, and has a TGIC-free powder coat—ensuring sustainability at every step. The D1 pendant provided an ideal lighting and design solution for high-traffic areas, enhancing both function and aesthetics.
