Azure at National Landing

At Azure at National Landing in Arlington, VA, LightArt collaborated with One Line Design Studio to create a custom Ribbon Sculpture that elevates the luxury residential experience. Spanning an overall footprint of 8'-0" x 28'-9" x 8'H, the installation introduces a dynamic architectural moment that defines the expansive amenity lounge without overwhelming the space.

The composition features a series of precision-crafted ribbons—each approximately 8 inches high, 96 inches long, and just a quarter-inch thick. These sculptural elements flow in a continuous, wave-like rhythm, bringing movement, depth, and texture to the ceiling plane. The design thoughtfully integrates with the existing lighting layout, allowing illumination to wash between the layered forms. This interplay of shadow and light creates a soft, atmospheric glow that shifts throughout the day, enhancing both the sculptural profile and the surrounding interior palette.

The Ribbon Sculpture anchors the lounge visually, drawing the eye upward and complementing the clean lines, warm materials, and open-plan layout curated by One Line Design Studio. As a custom linear feature, it delivers a refined, site-specific solution—one that brings artistry, scale, and subtle drama to a modern multifamily setting. The result is an immersive ceiling installation that transforms the space into a serene, sophisticated retreat.
