In May we returned to Wanted Design Manhattan, a design trade show founded in 2011, which has quickly become an integral part of NYCxDesign week.

Wanted Design hosts exhibitions throughout the City, though the main hall is within legendary 90s club The Tunnel. The 80,000 square-foot event space was filled with artists and designers from all over the world, and we couldn’t have been more excited to join them!

Opening WD-157

Our booth was built entirely out of black cardboard; the pieces staggered as it climbed up the walls, adding depth and height to our exhibit space. A stylish but also economical solution, allowing for easy recycling, instead of being trashed or shipped back to Seattle.

We were located near the entrance of the exhibition hall, able to greet guest as they entered and show off the Seattle + Lyon Confluence project and fixture series Five X.

Opening WD-162

We spent months working with longtime friends and collaborators at iwoodlove, creating the Five X series. The new line uses digital fabrication, geometry and our famous 3form materials to create a striking new design aesthetic.

The week in New York left us feeling inspired and excited to jump into our next project!
