New Acoustic Wood Textures bring natural elegance to acoustic lighting with four new wood patterns.

We are proud to announce the launch of the Acoustic Wood Textures, encompassing the first patterns available across the company’s robust collection of acoustic fixtures.

Inspired by biophilic design, the release captures the natural sophistication of wood in four patterns: Iron Oak, Walnut, Carmel Oak, and Rich Bamboo.

The wood patterns are printed on the Sola Felt material available across LightArt’s acoustic offerings, utilizing water-based ink and a high-resolution printer to achieve remarkable detail. Three of LightArt’s 22 standard Sola Felt colors—Dune, Driftwood, and Nickel—serve as bases for the patterns, offering a range of wood tonalities.

Designers can specify the new patterns across LightArt’s entire Acoustic Collection, including Static, Static Links, Stratta, Baffles, Echo, Empire Shade, Cube Shade, Trapezoid Shade, Cylinder Shade, Trellis, and Wing.

From the sophisticated look of Walnut to the inviting warmth of Rich Bamboo, the Acoustic Collection Wood Textures provide a luxe finish ideal for well-appointed corporate spaces, hotel lobbies, and restaurants. The new patterns enable designers and architects to add organic, textural material warmth to high-traffic environments like hospital cafés, school auditoriums, and modern workplaces, either as a standalone acoustic lighting solution or a central design feature integrated throughout a space.

The Acoustic Collection Wood Textures feature standard horizontal grain patterns. The new printing process is Greenguard Gold certified. Composed of 50% post-consumer recycled content, the Sola Felt material used across the Acoustic Collection is a Declare Label Red List Free product. LightArt’s Acoustic Collection includes fixtures with NRC ratings between 0.75 and 1.3.
