    Designers at Corgan tapped LightArt to create a custom mobile installation at the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ.

    The Palo Verde Blossom Mobile, named after the state tree of Arizona and native to the southwest desert, consists of 980 formed blossoms in the South Concourse area of the airport.

Process

Working closely with the design team at Corgan LightArt created a mock ups and models of the blossom to find the perfect representation of the Palo Verde Blossoms.

Once the overall look and size was approved LightArt got to work building this one-of-a-kind installation.

The mobile installation fills a 120'L x 25'W x 4'H space and consists of four variations of yellow blossoms.
